Amateur Coalition Toward PT PPN

PT Pertamina Patra Niaga (PPN) is considered very “amateurish” when realizing 4,500 kilo liters (KL) Solar Purchasing Order (PO), which was ordered by a person named Andi Basta Setyawan Larengkeng SE, who claimed to act on behalf of PT Bumi Asri Prima Pratama (PT. BAPP). Because PT PPN sends goods without ever checking the correctness of the PO to PT BAPP.

“Our client has never given authority to anyone, and as a large company, PT. PPN should make a confirmation back to the office of PT. BAPP first and not directly give the diesel fuel (to Andi Basta)”, said PT BAPP’s Attorney, Victor Simanjuntak, a lawyer from Victor and Victor Counselors at Law, at a press conference, at Warung d pitiq Jalan Ampera, South Jakarta, Tuesday (2/3).

Victor also said, the civil case that dragged his client, PT BAPP, originated from the existence of PO 4,500 kilo liters (kl) of diesel fuel, valued at Rp 34 billion submitted by Andi Basta Setyawan Larengkeng SE on 18-19 March 2015. The PO uses the letterhead of PT. BAPP. Andi Basta then sent a sum of Rp 4 billion to the account of PT. VAT, as an initial payment from PT. BAPP, but through an account in the name of Sylviana Rizal.

“In fact, PT. BAPP, in addition to never ordering, also did not know Andi Basta or Sylviana Rizal. It is suspected that Sylviana’s name is fake,” he said.

In the course of the PO, for the underpayment of Rp 30 billion, PT PPN also billed PT BAPP. From here begins a dispute between the two, by way of PT. PPN reports Civil cases to the South Jakarta Court on the grounds that they do not want to pay for orders for diesel fuel. “Then it was revealed one by one what actually happened”, explained Victor.

Victor explained, many irregularities were revealed in the trial which has been running 11 months. In addition to revealing Andi Basta had falsified the Purchasing Order document using PT. BAPP, and the unknown name of Sylviana Rizal by PT BAPP, also contained the strange address of the 4,500 kl diesel recipient, namely in a Boulevard Kelapa Gading housing complex in North Jakarta.

“Approximately, in your opinion, to accommodate that much diesel in a residential area?” asked Victor.

Another oddity, added Victor, was when the date was written on the Purchase Order document submitted by Andi Basta on 18 -19 March 2015 but the shipment had been made on 17 March.

“When I asked this, they were evasive if on March 10-11 2015 the Purchase Order had been carried out, but when I asked the documents, they said it had been destroyed, how could important documents be destroyed? What was it?” said Victor, who was surprised that PT. VAT, which in fact is a State company, however arbitrarily destroys important documents. And this makes Victor even more convinced that there is indeed a criminal conspiracy between PT PPN and Andi Basta.

BAPP itself believes that this civil case will be won, because all documents submitted by PT. VAT on behalf of PT. BAPP is fake For this reason, PT. BAPP plans to file a lawsuit against PT. PPN. Meanwhile Andi Basta, who once ran for Candidate for North Luwu Regent, Southeast Sulawesi in 2015, has been reported to the Jakarta Metropolitan Police for fraud. (bud / pur)
